Boeing Purchases Unlimited GenesisRTX Licenses For Use in North American

Vestal, NY. USA, November 16, 2010–Diamond Visionics announced today that Boeing has purchased a North American Enterprise Wide License of the GenesisRTX Dynamic Construction 3D visualization technology so they can put them on every desktop and simulator in the Boeing North American Inventory.

Taking advantage of the exponential growth in CPU and GPU performance available in low cost computer hardware, DVC’s GenesisRTX dynamically constructs complex 3D scenes anywhere on the earth directly from GIS source data in real-time without the need for additional terrain optimization software or intermediate formats.

Dynamic Construction is the next evolution in 3D visualization, where the content of the scene changes as fast as the source data can be collected. GenesisRTX presents the timeliest and most accurate representation possible, while at the same time lowering initial and long term costs of deploying simulation systems. This is accomplished by reducing the number of tools, steps, time, and labor involved in deploying 60Hz visual systems, while at the same time increasing the amount of reuse for future systems.

“As industry embraces the Dynamic Construction GenesisRTX 3D rendering engine it reinforces that our original circa 2001 vision of the future was correct,” says David Gdovin President Diamond Visionics, LLC. “Dynamic Construction changes how you look at visualization, forever changing it from an offline construction problem into a run-time source data visualization opportunity.”

“This purchase was a joint effort between the Seattle Integrated Technology Development Laboratory and the St. Louis Virtual Warfare Center teams as they explore new opportunities in 3D visualization across Boeing’s vast spectrum of image generation applications,” says Aaron Hutchinson President Cogent3D.

Diamond Visionics, LLC is a small business based in Vestal, NY that produces cutting edge 3D visualization, image generation, and interactive source editing tools for the operational and simulation markets (GenesisRTX : GenesisIG, GenesisMP, GenesisSN, and GenesisSDK). To contact DVC: www.diamondvisionics.com, info@dvcsim.com.
